Pacquiao says he'll fight on Dec. 1
Pacman named Habitat for Humanity ambassador
MANILA, Philippines -- Manny Pacquiao has been named as the new Habitat for Humanity Heroes' ambassador.
At the group's event on Thursday night, Pacquiao was given his own copy of the "I Build My Dreams" coffee table book.
"'Yung lupa niya sa Sarangani na binili niya ng sarili niyang pera, dinonate niya sa Habitat for Humanity para patayuan ng mga bahay," said ABS-CBN anchor Karen Davila, who attended the event.
"We've been grateful and we promised him that we would also build in Sarangani," said Fernando Zobel de Ayala, Vice Chairman of the Habitat Philippine Board.
Also present in the event were other Habitat for Humanity ambassadors including Kim Atienza, Matteo Guidicelli, Derek Ramsey and Chris Tiu.
Meantime, Pacquiao confirmed that his next fight will be moved to December 1.
"Masyado kasing malapit [sa huling laban] eh. Kelangan at least 6 month bago lumaban ulit," said Pacquiao.
But an opponent has yet to be chosen among Timothy Bradley, Juan Manuel Marquez and Miguel Cotto.
"Wala pa," said Pacquiao when asked about his next foe. "'Di pa kami nag-uusap ulit ni Bob Arum, by next month siguro."
Pacquiao said he has also yet to decide whether to begin his training in Baguio or to go directly to the US.
He is also preparing his Bible preaching in General Santos at the end of the month.
