Donaire picks Pacquiao over Rios
LAS VEGAS, Nevada -- In just three months, Philippine congressman and boxing superstar Manny Pacquiao will make his comeback after his staggering loss to Juan Manuel Marquez.
Pacman vowed to avenge and promised fans that he will certainly bounce back from that stunning loss.
For fellow boxer Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire, the “Pacman” has more advantages and enjoys superiority in terms of power over Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios.
Donaire predicts that Pacquiao’s swiftness will prevail based on Rios’ performance in his loss to Mike Alvarado.
“Of course [I’m with] with Pacquiao… for me boksingero ako, I’m a fighter. I look at it in a different light. Kung tatanungin mo ako, I would say that Pacquiao still has the edge kase he has the speed. Mabagal si Bam Bam, depende lang sa focus ni Pacquiao,” Donaire said.
“Ang kailangan lang ni Pacquiao ay stamina kasi hindi 'yan hihinto si Bam Bam… Nakita mo naman na natalo si Bam Bam sa style ni Alvarado the last time. Mas mabilis pa si Pacquiao dun at mas malakas pa, but then again stamina lang and endurance ang kailangan,” Donaire added.
Rios and Donaire both train under the same coach, Robert Garcia.
