MANILA, Philippines – WBO female super batamweight champion Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton is ready to fight Chantall Martinez in a bout to unify the super bantamweight titles.

"I am ready to unify titles with Chantall," Julaton told Examiner.com. "If Chantall wants it, then we can put on a show here in the United States to showcase what women's boxing is truly about."

Martinez holds the WBA female super bantamweight title.

Julaton said that her promoter, Allan Tremblay, will put the fight together if Martinez wants.

But Julaton's advisor Angelo Reyes has been critical of Team Martinez.

"Their bark is perhaps louder than their bite," Reyes told Examiner.com.

It was Martinez' camp who demanded a title unification bout, but Reyes claimed that they have been silent ever since Julaton responded to the challenge.

"When you're done playing with the puppy, pick up the phone and fight a real dog in Ana," Reyes said in a message to Team Martinez. "Quit acting like a scared pussycat."

Reyes added that a bout between Julaton and Martinez would do wonders for the sport of women's boxing, and should be shown on a major TV network in the United States.
