MANILA, Philippines – Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his father, Floyd Sr., nearly came to blows during the former's training camp for his upcoming bout against Victor Ortiz on September 17.

Father and son exchanged angry words and expletives, and the whole argument was shown in the first episode of HBO's 24/7: Mayweather-Ortiz.

The show put a spotlight on the strained relationship between Floyd Jr. and his father.

"My training camp is fine, we are okay. We undefeated, we been undefeated, we gonna stay undefeated," Floyd Jr told his father.

"You were undefeated when you started with your daddy," Floyd Sr. shot back.

The argument quickly became heated, with Floyd Jr. informing his father that Roger Mayweather, his uncle and Floyd Sr's brother, was his trainer.

"You're not even close to him (Roger)," Floyd Jr. said. "No fighter wants to be with you... (Oscar) de la Hoya left you."

The two eventually had to be separated, with Roger Mayweather pushing Floyd Jr. out of the way.

"Get out of our way, this is our gym," Floyd Jr. told his father.

Even as his father left, Floyd Jr. continued to hurl insults at him, saying that he was worthless as a fighter and calling him a “cab driver.”

"When it's all said and done, there are only 2 Mayweathers that count – Roger Mayweather and Floyd Mayweather," Floyd Jr. said.

"And I'm not no Junior," he added.
