‘Amang’ Parica wins Vegas 10-Ball
MANILA -- US-based master cue artist Jose “Amang” Parica bagged NCS 10-Ball National title, beating American Shaun Wilkie at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada last week.
According to a BilliardPhilippines.com report, Parica took home the $3,000 top prize and the tournament crystal trophy.
He went home with a No. 308 model cue designed by Danny Janes exclusively for NCS sponsored OB Cues and a custom-engraved DELTA-13 Elite rack and.
The West Covina based Parica, acknowledged leader of the Pinoy invasion of the US in the mid 80’s, beat Bill Anderson from McKinney, Texas, to make it to the finals.
Both Parica and Wilkie will join Santos “The Saint” Sambajon Jr. and American Sal Butera in the 2010 US Open 10-Ball Championship at the Riviera Hotel and Casino.
