MANILA, Philippines – The Lebanese team has complained about Smart Gilas Pilipinas’ roster in the FIBA-Asia Championships, which kicks off on Thursday in Wuhan, China.

Basketball coach Chot Reyes, which supports Gilas’ campaign in FIBA-Asia, said Lebanon is questioning the eligibility of Chris Lutz and Marcio Lassiter.

“We submitted our lineup w Lutz & Lassi end-august Pa, but now Lang nag complain. Were working on it now w help of SBP (Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas) & Moying M. Dasal Bayan!” said Reyes through his Twitter account.

The FIBA Asia Championship, the qualifying tournament for the FIBA World Championship and the Olympic basketball competition, will be held from September 15 to 25.

The Philippines is clustered with Bahrain, China and the United Arab Emirates in Group D.
