MANILA, Philippines – The National University (NU) Bulldogs turned back the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals, 71-61, last Saturday to move in contention for a semi-finals slot in the 11th Fr. Martin Division 2 Cup.

Commissioner Robert dela Rosa said they are still waiting for the outcome of the San Beda Red Lions’ match against the Letran Knights to determine who will qualify to the semi-finals.
The Red Lions have a 5-2 win-loss record.
According to Dela Rosa, with the possibility of a five-way tie for the lead, the quotient system will be used to determine the two qualifiers in each of the two brackets, and the squads with the best records will advance.
