Milan Milendo, the reigning World Boxing Organization Asia-Pacific miniflyweight champ, is set to defend his crown in his hometown of Cagayan de Oro City against Juma Fundi of Tanzania on October 30.
"This event will showcase the Mindanao fighters," ALA Promotions' Antonio Aldeguer told Salven Lagumbay of Philboxing.com.
Milendo has a 16-0 win-loss record.
The October 30 outing presented by ALA and backed by Misamis Oriental Gov. Oscar Moreno and Leolet Promotions will be his second title defense following a unanimous decision win over Carlos Melo of Panama in July for the WBA Intercontinental light-flyweight belt.
Aside from Milendo, WBO Asia Pacific Youth lightweight champion Jason Pagara vying for the RP lightweight title against ex-RP champ Arnel Porras in the fight card.
Meanwhile, WBO Asia-Pacific light welter champion Eusebio Baluarte goes up against Cris Alag for a 10-rounder.
The other fights in the card are: Weng Haya-Jaime Barcelona; Romeo Jako-William Jorge; Jerson Mancio-Saldy Calamba; Marlon Tapalez-Roilo Golez; Mark Anthony Geraldo against a yet to be determined opponent; and Dondon Tumala-TBA.
