Three cities -- two in Metro Manila and one in the Visayas -- are now in the list of possible venues for the 2009 comeback edition of the World Ten Ball Championship.

For the second WTBC, the areas already shortlisted are Manila, Makati City and Cebu.

Organizers, however, have yet to decide on the venue for WTBC on October 4-11, 2009.

Ian Anderson, president of the World Pool-Billiard Association, said that the WTBC will definitely "return to Manila next year."

"This early, there's a strong clamor for the WTBC and it will definitely be back next year in Manila," Anderson said in a report on AZBilliards.com, adding that preceding the second WTBC is the Philippine Open in June 2009.
