MANILA, Philippines - Floyd Mayweather Sr. continues to hint that Filipino boxing icon Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao is using performance enhancing drugs (PED), even as the pound-for-pound king has a pending defamation case filed against Mayweather Sr. and his son, Floyd Mayweather Jr.

In an interview with BoxingScene.com, Mayweather Sr. questioned how Pacquiao is able to knock out other fighters who are much bigger than him.

"Pacquiao has never been recognized as a big puncher. And now, he is knocking guys out who are six feet tall. How can that be?" Mayweather Sr. said. "Something like this has never, ever happened in the history of boxing."

"Pacquiao is doing something nobody has ever done before," he added.

Pacquiao has filed a defamation suit against Mayweather Sr. and his son, Floyd Sr., after the two made allegations of steroid use against the Filipino fighting congressman.

The older Mayweather did not make direct accusations of steroid use in the interview, but said that Pacquiao should "take the tests," meaning the Olympic-style random drug tests that his son has required of Pacquiao.

The random drug testing issue was among the major issues that led to the collapse of negotiations for a potential Pacquiao-Mayweather mega-fight.

Mayweather Sr. is also convinced that should his son ever meet Pacquiao in the ring, the result would be a knockout victory for Floyd Jr.

"Like I said before, if Pacquiao takes the tests, my son is going to put him to sleep. There is no doubt, Floyd would beat Pacquiao if he agrees to take the test," he said.
