Angelo joint sixth in Macau, earns P.9M
MANILA, Philippines - Angelo Que settled for an even-par 71 yesterday and a share of sixth place in the $750,000 Macau Open at the Macau Golf and Country Club yesterday.
Que was just four shots off the pace and tied for third entering the final round. He caught a birdie on No. 2 and seemed headed to a fast start.
But he bogeyed three of the next five holes and was a little shaken. He birdied No. 8 and went for the turn at one-over for the day.
Que had another bogey on No. 10 but bounced back with birdies on Nos. 12 and 15, then closed out his stint with a bogey-birdie for a 275 total.
But there’s still reason to celebrate with his paycheck of $23,625 or roughly P978,000.
Gaganjeet Bhullar of of India held on for the victory, firing a 68 for a 268 total. Finishing second and two strokes behind was Jonathan Moore of the United States following a 65, the day’s lowest round.
