Banal's Thai foe arrives for Pinoy Pride
MANILA, Philippines – Thai fighter Pungluang Sor Singyu arrived in the Philippines Tuesday ahead of his world title clash against AJ “Bazooka” Banal in Pinoy Pride XVII on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
PhilBoxing reported that Sor Singyu, along with members of his team, arrived at 2:10 pm yesterday onboard flight PR 753 at the NAIA Terminal 2.
Banal and Sor Singyu will clash for the World Boxing Organization bantamweight championship in the main event of Pinoy Pride XVII.
Sor Singyu holds a record of 42 wins against only one loss. He comes into the bout riding a 19-fight winning streak going back to 2009.
Meanwhile, Banal has a record of 28 wins against one loss.
