Que finishes joint 10th
MANILA, Philippines - Angelo Que made a par game of 71 and finished joint 10th in the Hero Indian Open, six shots behind Thai Thaworn Wiratchant who topped the $1.25 million event via playoff at the Kamataka golf course in India yesterday.
Que, who hit a 69 in the third round after two 68s to gain a share of sixth, missed a number of birdie chances but kept a bogey-free round for a 35-36 and a 276 in a tie with first round leader James Morrison of England.
Wiratchant birdied the tough par-4 18th to gain a two-shot swing against erstwhile leader Richie Ramsay of Scotland and forced a sudden death at 270. Wiratchant, who rallied with a 66, made a par on the first playoff hole to edge Ramsay, who closed out with a bogey.
