Mosley says Pacquiao-Marquez IV a 'great fight'
MANILA, Philippines – Former world champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley is expecting to see another great fight when rivals Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez face off for a fourth time on December 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
In an interview with Dog House Boxing, Mosley shared his thoughts on the Pacquiao-Marquez fight.
“It’s probably going to be another great fight,” he said. “You can tell that Marquez is very determined. He’s really trying to get this fourth fight, a fourth win.”
“I think it depends on how hungry Pacquiao is to get a win, or actually get a knockout to make it clear-cut,” he added.
“But it seems Marquez is very difficult because of his style and styles make fights.”
Pacquiao and Marquez fought three hotly contested bouts that all ended in controversial decisions. Both fighters have promised that the fourth bout will provide a decisive conclusion to the rivalry that started in 2004.
Mosley retired after losing to Saul “Canelo” Alvarez last May 5 and has since focused on training his son, Shane Jr.
Before losing to Alvarez, Mosley lost to Pacquiao via unanimous decision in May 2011.
