San Beda nabs top seeding in Final 4
MANILA, Philippines – The San Beda Red Lions gained the top seeding in the NCAA Final 4 by bashing Arellano U, 78-62, on Saturday.
The defending champions will wait for the loser between Perpetual and San Sebastian, who will dispute for the third seeding on Tuesday.
Kyle Pascual led the Lions’ balanced attack with 10 points.
San Beda made mincemeat of the Chiefs, who trailed by as much as 28 points in the third period.
This allowed the Lions to record their 15th victory against 3 defeats.
Arellano fell to its 10th loss in 18 starts.
