No treats for Pacquiao on Halloween
Pacquiao skips annual Halloween party
LOS ANGELES, California – Aside from a Pacquiao clone greeting him in the gym, there were neither tricks nor treats for Manny Pacquiao on Halloween as he and trainer Freddie Roach hit the mitts for their daily training camp at the Wild Card Gym.
The focused Pacquiao said he is only thinking of his December 8 opponent Juan Manuel Marquez such that he didn't even throw his annual Halloween party.
“Focus ako sa fight, focus sa training,” said Pacquiao.
The Filipino boxer and Roach did 12 crisp rounds worth of mitts before hitting the bag.
Three days into training camp, Pacquiao already feels like he's hitting his stride.
“Sa tingin ko maaga naming makukuha yung 100% condition, we have enough time, we have five weeks more before the fight,” said Pacquiao.
“’Yung feeling ko sa condition ko mabuti naman maganda, sa tingin ko, two weeks before the fight makukuha natin ang 100% conditioning.”
Pacquiao is scheduled to take on his sparring partners again on Thursday.
