MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) will be holding a tripleheader this weekend, something the league hasn’t done since the 2009-2010 season.
According to the league’s official website, six teams will be playing at the Smart Araneta Coliseum this Sunday.
Barako Bull plays against Globalport at the 3 p.m. first game, followed by a 5:15 p.m. faceoff between Meralco and Rain or Shine.
In the last game at 7:30 p.m., San Mig Coffee battles sister team Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.
The last time the PBA held a triple header was in the 2009-2010 Philippine Cup eliminations when Smart Gilas played as a guest team.
