US-based Pinoy legend Jose “Amang” Parica topped a field of 45 players in the Joss Northeast 9-Ball Tour, beating Adam Kielar at the finals at Comet Billiards in Parsippany, New Jersey over the weekend.

A report posted on AZBilliard.com said Parica showed flashes of his old deadly form as he made short work of Kielar, 9-3.

Parica ran through the double elimination tournament unbeaten, beating Keilar, 9-6, in his opening match. He then posted a 9-6 win over Mike Zuglan on his way to the finals.

Kielar, on the other hand, had to eliminate Jeremy Sossei and Joey Kong before making it to the semis. He beat Mike Zuglan, 9-5, to arrange a re-match with Parica in the finals.

After beating Kielar, Parica went home with the coveted trophy and the $1,500 that goes with it. His opponent, meanwhile, took home $1,100.
