Adamson racked its third straight victory by pounding Ateneo, 25-22, 15-25, 25-23, 25-21, to boost its semis bid in the Shakey’s V-League second conference at The Arena in San Juan Tuesday.

A report posted on V-League.ph said the Lady Falcons put up a superb floor defense in the last two frames after being down at the second set against the Lady Eagles. Adamson now has a 3-1 win-loss slate.

“Discipline, that’s the key in this win,” said Adamson coach Dulce Pante, referring to their continued dominance over Ateneo.

Win the win, Adamson now has the second spot just behind La Salle’s 4-0 mark. The Lady Eagles took their third loss against a win for sixth.

Rissa Jane Laguilles fired 20 points while Angela Benting and MVP Nerissa Bautista each had 16 hits for Adamson.

Ateneo guest player Michelle Laborte scored a game-high 22 points while alumna Charo Soriano tossed in 11 hits. These, however, were not enough to save the Lady Eagles against Adamson.
