MANILA – UFC Hall of Famer Randy “The Natural” Couture routed Filipino-American Brandon “The Truth” Vera in UFC 105 Saturday at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester, England (Sunday in Manila).

Couture conquered Vera via unanimous decision. According to FightHype.com, the scores were 29-28, 29-28 and 29-28 in favor of Couture.

Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy also scored a unanimous decision victory over Mike “Quick” Swick. The scores were 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 in favor of Hardy.

British MMA star Michael “The Count” Bisping, meantime, defeated Denis Kang by technical knockout at 4:24 in Round 2, UFC.com reported.

Matt “The Immortal” Brown beat James “Lightning” Wilks by TKO at 2:27 in Round 3 while Ross “The Real Deal” Pearson won over Aaron Riley by TKO at 4:38 in Round 2.

Paul “Relentless” Taylor triumphed via unanimous decision over John “The Hitman” Hathaway.

Meanwhile, Terry Etim defeated Shannon Gugerty by submission (guillotine) at 1:24 in Round 2 while Nick “Slick” Osipczak beat Matthew Riddle by TKO at 3:53 in Round 3.

Dennis Siver overcame Paul “Tellys” Kelly via TKO at 2:53 in Round 2.

Two knockout victories were scored in UFC 105. Alexander “The Mauler” Gustafsson knocked out Jared Hamman at 0:41 in Round 1 and Andre Winner knocked out Rolando “The Crazy Cuban” Delgado at 3:22 also in Round 1.
