MANILA – Pool icon Efren “Bata” Reyes and Women’s World 10-ball champion Rubilen Amit will team up to represent the Philippines in the 2009 World Mixed Doubles Classic.

Reyes and Amit are in Team Philippines A while World Ten Ball runner-up Lee Van Corteza and Filipino-American Shanelle Loraine form Team Philippines B.

The 2 Philippine teams will go against pairs from the United States, Japan, Korea and Europe.

Team USA is composed of Shane Van Boening and Amy Chen while Team Europe is represented by Albanian Borana Andoni and World Ten Ball champion Mika Immonen of Finland.

Team Korea, meantime, has Charlie Williams and Eun Ji Park and Team Japan is bannered by Hayato Hijikata and Kaori Ebe.
