At the locker room, there were lots of hugs and cheers as Team Pacquiao celebrated the devastating victory against one of boxing’s biggest names: Oscar de la Hoya.

They went through 10 weeks of hard training, all worth it. The results couldn’t have been more perfect.

Manny did a quick change to a suit to face the media who packed the press room waiting to hear from the amazing Filipino boxer.

De la Hoya was unable to come out as he was sent to the hospital for a mandatory check but he did send his greeting to boxing’s best.

Boxing analysts and writers who prior to the fight predominantly favored Oscar, totally changed their tune. They said the Golden Boy’s reign is over, it’s now the era of Manny Pacquiao.

Enthusiastic fans waited for Pacquiao at the lobby of the Mandalay Bay. It got even crazier at the after party at the Rum Jungle. Pinoys pushed to try and get close to Manny

Vice President Noli de Castro joined the celebration along with Apple de Ap.

Pacquiao stayed for about an hour before moving up to his suite. Pregnant wife Jinkee who did not watch at ringside, awaited her husband.

Jinkee, like everyone, was very proud of the incredible achievement Manny accomplished. And the couple had a light moment.

Visitors were non-stop. Aside from the personal satisfaction, seeing the joy his victories give fellow Pinoys is what fuels Manny. He does take the time to let others know he appreciates their support.

Manny didn’t get much sleep but woke up to a bright morning recounting the moves that made the Golden Boy surrender.

Everyone was in a high. The thanksgiving mass was jampacked. Pinoys along with Manny offered songs and prayers to thank god for the supernatural performance by the Pinoy from General Santos.

Team Pacquiao travelled to Los Angeles were Manny will stay for a night before going back to Manila.

At his Palazzo apartment, it was again a fiesta as supporters came in droves to congratulate and thank Manny for making us all proud to be Filipino.
