MANILA, Philippines – World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko and World Boxing Association (WBA) and WBC super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan successfully defended their titles Saturday (Sunday in Manila).

Klitschko, who hails from Ukraine, dominated Kevin Johnson of the United States by unanimous decision in Bern, Switzerland.

The 38-year-old WBC heavyweight champion said he wants to face WBA David Haye next.

“I'm ready… I will be happy to fight him next year. David Haye is the trash talking world champion,” Klitschko noted in a Reuters report.

Meanwhile, Darchinyan had a much easier win over his opponent, Mexico’s Tomas Rojas.

The Armenian scored a 2nd round knock out against his Mexican foe in Rancho Mirage, California.

Even before his match against Rojas, Darchinyan was said to be ready for a rematch against Filipino Nonito Donaire, Jr., the WBA interim super flyweight title champion.
