Pacquiao pleased with MRI results
MANILA, Philippines – Despite coming home late after voting yes on the Reproductive Health bill in the House of Representatives Wednesday night, Cong. Manny Pacquiao still got up early on Thursday for the school play of his daughter Princess.
Pacquiao brought a camera since he himself would be the one taking pictures.
“Oo, para sa anak ko,” he said.
Pacquiao proudly showed off a video of the performance to ABS-CBN News.
After the play, the fighting congressman went to the Cardinal Santos Hospital to undergo an MRI scan.
Both Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee admitted they were nervous about the results.
Pacquiao's doctor said they scanned both his brain and spine to check out if he suffered any damage after his knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez.
After an hour, Pacquiao received the good news.
“Normal na normal at maayos ang kanyang kalusugan,” said Cardinal Santos CEO Pilar Nenuca Almira.
Pacquiao was pleased with the results.
“Everything is OK, no problem kaya masaya,” said a beaming Pacquiao.
“Masaya ako, ibabalita ko sa mga anak ko na he's OK,” said Jinkee.
The People's Champ said that despite his loss to Marquez, he has no plans of hanging up his gloves just yet.
