HOUSTON, Texas (UPDATE) -- Mexicans and Filipinos came out to show their support for Jorge Arce and Nonito Donaire Jr. at the official weigh-in at Plaza Americas in Houston.

Donaire was lean and strong weighing in at 121.5 pounds.

Arce was also chiseled and had to step up the scale twice and he came in at exactly 122 pounds.

Arce and Donaire were quite friendly with each other, the “Filipino Flash” even held up the towel that covered the Mexican when he was on the scale.

But fireworks is expected on the ring as both fighters have declared their desire to win by knockout.

Donaire said he feels fantastic not having to starve himself to make weight.

"I feel great, very good in fact. Expect the best," said Donaire.

This is the fourth fight for Donaire for 2012 and both him and his wife, Rachel, believe it will be his best performance.

"This is gonna be a war because Arce is gonna try to prove himself... and Nonito would love to go toe-to-toe," said Rachel.

Donaire beat Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. in February, defeated the much taller Jeffrey Mathebula in July, and just last October retired the former 122-pound champion Toshiaki Nishioka.

Donaire is happy he will have another chance against a big name like Arce.

Donaire's World Boxing Organization (WBO) super bantamweight belt is on the line as he fights at the Toyota Center.

He vows to give it his best shot to remain on top of the 122-pound division.
