MANILA, Philippines – No less than Super GM Wesley So will usher the opening rites of the 1st Bellagio Square Christmas Party and Chess Tournament on Wednesday at Bellagio Square, Jorge Bocobo St. near Robinsons Place in Manila.

GM So will be the Guest of Honor invited by the officers of the Pantalan-Aduana Executive Chess Club, Inc. (PAECCI) headed by Club President Loren Tabilog.

"It will be a great honor for us to be visited by the country's top player and this will inspire our executive players to concentrate in the game of chess," Tabilog said.

The event is expecting more players to come as there will be a side event for the Non-Master category for those who are not qualified to join in the Executive Category.

Aside of the prizes, PAECCI will also draw a raffle for all the participants.
