MANILA, Philippines – It’s the season of love and PayPal has some exciting offers in store. Shop online and pay with PayPal this Valentine’s Day and get a 10 percent Valentine’s rebate on your purchases anywhere PayPal is accepted.

According to Mario Shiliashki, general manager of PayPal Southeast Asia and India, online shopping has gained considerable traction among shoppers in Asia, with more than 50 percent of shoppers likely to purchase gifts and items through online websites.

"To make online shopping more attractive, fun and rewarding for our users, we created exciting promotions like the Valentine’s Day rebate and the Valentine’s WishList. This in turn drives sales and cross border trade for our merchants, creating a win-win situation between our buyers and sellers," he said.

To take part in the promotion, users are urged to register their primary PayPal email address on PayPal’s Valentine Day’s website at www.paypal-apac.com/valentines.

They can also check out PayPal’s exclusive Valentine’s gift catalogue at www.paypal-apac.com/valentines or PayPal’s Asia Mall on www.paypal-apac.com/apac-mall.

Major Asian online retailers are offering a range of promotional offers to PayPal customers, from 20 percent discounts to free shipping and more.
