MANILA - YouTube sensation Charice may be on the brink of international stardom but deep inside, she's still a kid who's fascinated with the latest gadgets and gizmos that's available on the market.

In an interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Charice admits she's fond of gadgets such as iPods, cameras and the latest PSP console.

She said she currently owns four iPods, all of which were given to her during her various guestings.

"My most favorite gadget is my 24-inch iMac. I like to do my own recordings so I compose, record and edit in my computer. I also put my digital photos there and enhance them," she said.

She also owns several cell phones, which she uses for her various trips abroad. She says her favorite phone right now is the Samsung Beat, which allows her to shut off the music instantly everytime she receives a call.

While on tour, Charice also never leaves home without her two Flip Video camcorders, which she uses to take videos of her favorite stars.

Charice shot to fame after a YouTube video of her singing Jennifer Holliday's "And I'm Telling You I am Not Going" caught the attention of TV hosts Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey. Since then, she has performed with singers such as Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Celine Dion.

Her American debut album, which is produced by David Foster, is slated for release in late fall of 2009. Interview by Reyma Deveza, Trina Lagura and Mark Telan, abs-cbnNEWS.com
