NetSuite doubles RP operations, delivers localized software

MANILA - NetSuite Inc., a leading vendor of cloud computing business management software suites, announced that it has doubled its Manila operations, strengthening the company's deep ties to the Philippine market and signaling its commitment to build on its position as the Philippines’ largest and leading cloud computing applications vendor.
The company also announced NetSuite Version 2009.2, a new localized product designed to meet the requirements of the Bureau of Internal Revenue with key tax compliance, reporting and data export requirements.
“Manila's strong, business-friendly infrastructure has been a tremendous asset to NetSuite, along with a top-notch educational system and well-spoken, service-driven employees," Zach Nelson, CEO of NetSuite, said in a press statement.
"Furthermore, the acceptance of our cloud-based business applications product by global companies headquartered in Manila is a great testament to the strength of NetSuite in meeting the needs of local industry leaders.”
Manila, which today serves as a key center for NetSuite's global technical support, services and back-office operations is expanding to include product development and quality assurance capabilities. The growing office, which now employs nearly 300, has helped NetSuite establish itself among some of the Philippines’ leading companies, with household-name customers such as Jollibee, ABS-CBN, Diamond Fleet Management System, and MOTECH Automotive Education Center, Inc.
Established in January 2007, NetSuite's Manila office is the company's largest office location outside the United States. NetSuite's Philippine efforts are led by James Dantow, General Manager and Vice President of Worldwide Support. Mr. Dantow has business experience on five continents, specializing in BPO and IT services in multiple industries and sectors. He holds an MBA from the School of Business at Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada.
