Chocolates

Are you a chocoholic who dreams of being best buds with Charlie and Willy Wonka so you can have access to the chocolate factory?

Did you know that the earliest record of chocolate was over fifteen hundred years ago in the Central American rainforests? A perfect place to cultivate the cacao tree which chocolates come from.

But have you ever wondered how chocolates are made?

The common pen

Do you like to doodle with your pen when the teacher is babbling about mathematical equations beyond your comprehension? Do you spend endless hours writing your assignment or taking down history notes using your pen?

Have you ever taken time out to take a good look at your pen and wonder how this ever-reliable writing instrument is made?

The making of dolls

Dolls will forever be a little girl’s best friend. But did you know that dolls date back in human history to prehistoric times? And Greek and Roman kids were buried with their dolls?

But have you ever wondered how these toys with lifelike images are made?

Did you know that it takes 17 trees to make a ton of paper? Therefore if we recycle a ton of paper then we save 17 trees! But have you ever wondered how they make paper out of trees?

These are just some interesting things to think about. But you need not ponder about it for too long because Kuya Kim has all the answers!

Watch Matanglawin on Sunday at 10:00 am and find out how things are made.
