Thomasians and Bedans join the call for change

The call for change continues.

Beginning Wednesday, August 19, ABS-CBN’s “Boto Mo, iPatrol Mo: Ako ang Simula” campaign goes on the road with its Boto Mo, iPatrol Mo bus, and its first stop — the University of Santo Tomas.

Together with the whole barkada of the “Umagang Kay Ganda” program, Boto Mo, iPatrol Mo will be calling on Thomasians to join the movement with a line-up of activities such as student debates and a workshop for new 'Boto Patrollers' to be led by ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) Chief Operating Officer Glenda Gloria.

On the other hand, ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs Senior Vice President Maria Ressa and ABS-CBN News Gathering Head Charie Villa, together with representatives from the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and the National Movement for Free Elections (Namfrel), will address students of San Beda College in Mendiola, Manila in a forum called What YOUTHink, which will be about the power of the youth in the coming 2010 elections. ABS-CBN officials will tell Bedans what Boto Mo iPatrol Mo is, what to patrol, how to patrol, and how to send their reports.

Meanwhile, residents of Dagupan City and Zamboanga City may also register to vote and register to become ‘Boto Patrollers’ through the Comelec and ‘Boto Patroller’ registration booths to be set up in their cities, also on August 19. There will be a new 'Boto Patroller' registration activity in Mandaue City in Cebu on the same day.
