Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao, fresh from his heartbreaking knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas, made a surprise appearance at the lower House early Thursday morning during the voting on the reproductive health bill.

"In the dying seconds of my 6th round vs Marquez, a single punch knocked me out. Some thought I was dead," he said.

"What happened in Las Vegas affirmed my belief in the sanctity of life," Pacquiao added.

"I am pro-life. I vote no to House Bill No. 4244," he said. - ANC
