Lacson recounts year as a fugitive

After spending over a year in hiding, Senator Panfilo Lacson finally faced the public today. Lacson said he came out after the arrest warrant for him in connection with the Dacer-Corbito double murder case was finally junked. In this one-on-one interview with ABS-CBN News senior correspondent Lynda Jumilla, Lacson narrated how he lived as a fugitive. ANC, March 28, 2011

A selfish act?
It's good that Sen. Lacson find it in his heart to forgive as it makes him a good Christian. On the other hand, it would all be a selfish act on his part if he chose not to do anything to help bring justice to the murder of Dacer and Orbito. The TATAHIMIK NA LANG AKO SA ISANG TABI attitude (or the lack of resolve) is what perpetuates injustice in the Philippines. Being a senator, he OUGHT to demonstrate his resolve to bring justice forefront to his finding inner peace, if it indeed it would do so with his knowledge of the injustice committed to Dacer and Orbito.
