Trafficking syndicates still preying on Filipinas
Human trafficking syndicates are continuing to prey on Filipina women, according to labor and overseas Filipino workers advocate Susan Ople.
She tells ANC that crime gangs "have made an industry" out of recruiting Filipinas.
Ople also lashed out at a House bill proposed by Rep. Maria Theresa Bonoan-David that will require departing OFWs to pay an additional US$50 to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration fund (OWWA). - ANC, Primetime, June 21, 2012
