Security Bank committed to staying independent
Security Bank Senior Vice President Carlos Borromeo said Thursday that the bank is committed to staying independent.
Borromeo told Business Nightly that its acquisition of Premier Bank and its recently announced joint venture with Japan's Marubeni should illustrate Security Bank's commitment to growing itself as a competitor in the banking industry.
Borromeo said the Premier Bank acquisition will grow their network to 117 branches.
He added that they are open to other acquisition opportunities.
Business Nightly airs on ANC at 9 p.m. weeknights.
