The Bureau of Internal Revenue's (BIR) tax collection recently breached the P1 trillion mark, bringing the agency closer to achieving its goal for this year.
But next year is another story. Although the implementation of the sin tax reform law is expected to boost government revenues, that appears to be not enough. The BIR is planning to go after the tax payments of online stores.
