'Showtime' director denies rift among hosts
MANILA, Philippines -- Bobet Vidanes, director of noontime variety program "It's Showtime," on Saturday appeared on camera to disprove rumors of a growing rift among the show’s hosts.
In the same episode, Comedian-host Vice Ganda also put on record that rumblings of his alleged clash with Vidanes were products of “malicious minds.”
During his speech, Vice Ganda was surprised by the sudden appearance of Vidanes, who was wearing a shirt with a print saying “I Love Vice Ganda.” The two proceeded to hug, which promptly moved the comedian to tears.
“It’s Showtime” marked its fifth season finale on Saturday (April 28).
