Kundiman singer turns 4 chairs on 'Voice PH'
A kundiman singer charmed the four superstar-coaches on "The Voice of the Philippines" with a little-known folk ballad from the play "Uwahig" in Saturday's episode of the hit reality talent search.
Juvie Pelos, a 21-year-old from Surigao City, convinced a four-chair turn with a performance referred to by coach Lea Salonga as "too interesting to ignore."
Among the four coaches, Pelos eventually picked her "idol," Salonga, who she said was one of the reasons she joined the competition. -- The Voice of the Philippines, July 7, 2013, Saturday
