MANILA, Philippines - Two Filipinos are reportedly among those killed after Algerian special forces tried to rescue the hostages inside a gas plant in the Sahara.
Reports say another Filipino managed to escape.
Two Britons also died during the bloody rescue attempt.
The total number of fatalities and injuries have yet to be determined.
Six hundred workers and four foreigners have been freed as a result of the rescue.
But sources say the militants may still be holding other captives.
