Mexican bet releases topless campaign poster
A congressional candidate in Mexico releases a campaign poster showing herself topless.
The banner, seen on the streets of the western city of Guadalajara, sparked online debates.
The candidate, Natalia Juarez, is shown with six other women.
Juarez, a 34-year-old philosophy lecturer at a local university, says the poster aims to fight prejudice.
"We do want to make a different, fun and innovative campaign, but also a campaign that will make us think. a campaign which campaign which will make us reflect on the world or the country that we have," she says.
At least one Twitter user said she would vote for Juarez, but another said the poster was shameful.
