Punto por punto host Anthony Taberna talks to Chief Superintendent Leonardo Espina and Bayan Secretary General Renato Reyes on the challenges facing the new chief of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
Espina said he will first focus on ridding the ranks of bad eggs. He said he has ordered an inventory of all major cases involving men in uniform.
For his part, Reyes said the public has high expectations of Espina who will led the 17,000-strong NCRPO personnel. Although it may take more than one man and one term to achieve reforms, Reyes still hopes that the new leadership will implement some serious reforms in the NCRPO. -- Umagang Kay Ganda, September 12, 2012
