Two hundred volunteers and professional bakers teamed up in Geneva to make the world's longest mille-feuille cake at 1,221 meters.
The attempt required 875 liters of water, 800 kilos of flour and 400 kilos of chocolate.
Just preparing parts of the cake for the big day itself used up 1,000 working hours. It paid off as the team was able to beat a previous record held by Belgium.
But not all of it is about baker's glory -- pieces of the mille-feuille will be sold and proceeeds donated to a Swiss breast cancer association.
