From November 28 to December 4, a new breed of filmmakers and seasoned directors will battle it out for awards at the eighth festival of feature films by Cinema One Originals.
We brought you a couple of them last week. Today, we bring you two more.
Assunta and Alessandra de Rossi reunite in a movie set in the beautiful island of Palawan. “Baybayin” is about two sisters caught in a love triangle with a deaf-mute man.
Meanwhile, Criminal acts from jueteng to sakla to carnapping and drug trafficking figure in the life of Lourdes Lagrimas in “Mater Dolorosa.” In fact, she’s lording it over in the underworld in Manila until a new king gives her some competition.
Here to tell us more about the two films are the de Rossi sisters, Evelyn Vargas and director Adolf Alix Jr.
