Where's Marcoses' $6-B, asks Selda
MANILA, Philippines - Selda national coordinator Jigs Clamor believes the Aquino government should allot more funds in pursuing the estimated $10 billion ill-gotten wealth of the Marcos family.
Clamor said the Hawaii Court had estimated the Marcoses' wealth at $10 billion, of which only $4 billion have so far already been found.
He said the return to power of the Marcoses should not deter the Aquino administration from pursuing the cases against the former dictator's family.
"All the more this becomes a litmus test on the Aquino government if it is really for the Marcos victims. If the government is determined, marami pa ang pwedeng i-recover," he said.
