MANILA, Philippines - Chief Justice Renato Corona closed down 2 peso time-deposit accounts in Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank) Katipunan Branch on December 12, 2011, the same day that he was impeached by the House of Representatives.

PSBank branch manager Annabelle Tiongson said Corona's 2 accounts with account numbers 089-121019593 and 089-121021681 were both closed on December 12, 2011. The two accounts had a total balance of P19.7 million as of end-December 2010.
