Sulu princess calls Mar 'anti-Muslim'
Sultanate of Sulu princess Fatima Kiram, wife of Sultan Jamalul Kiram III, on Friday accused Interior and Local Government Secretary Manuel Roxas II of siding with the Malaysian government in the Sabah standoff.
Kiram said Roxas seemed to be serving as Malaysia's spokesperson. She also called Roxas "anti-Muslim."
Roxas earlier said that Malaysia had been patient in dealing with the sultanate's followers who have been holed up in Sabah for over two weeks now to assert their ownership of the territory. This statement did not sit well with the Sulu princess.
Roxas, in a subsequent interview, said he will not comment on Fatima's tirades.
