Bombs falling in Sabah
The brother of Jamalul Kiram on Tuesday said Malaysian fighter jets have started dropping bombs near their position in Sabah, Malaysia.
Sulu sultanate spokesman Abraham Idjirani said he talked to Raja Muda Agbimuddin Kiram who said Malaysian security forces have launched an operation against their group after a three-week stand-off.
Raja Muda said cluster bombs were falling a kilometer away from their position.
A total of 27 people have been reported killed since the militants landed on February 12 in the state of Sabah on Borneo island by boat.
