Pulse: Only 1 out of 10 wants CJ trial prioritized
MANILA, Philippines - The latest Pulse Asia survey shows only 1 of every 10 respondents wants the government to prioritize ensuring the fairness of the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.
A majority of 7 of 10 Filipinos want the government to prioritize controlling inflation, increasing the pay of workers, fighting corruption, creating jobs and reducing poverty.
The February 26-March 9 survey said the Aquino administration enjoyed high approval ratings in fighting corruption, increasing peace, fighting criminality and enforcing the law.
The government scored low in reducing poverty and controlling the increase in the prices of goods.
