Comelec eyes partial proclamation of party-list winners
MANILA, Philippines -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is holding an en banc meeting to decide whether or not to do a partial proclamation of winning party-list groups today, more than a week after the midterm polls.
Comelec Chairman Sixto Brillantes says the en banc has to choose between proclaming just the top 12 or including at least 50 who have enough votes to land a party-list seat.
Brillantes adds the en banc also needs to figure out what to do with disqualified party-list groups who are in the winning circle.
