Visiting Russian Navy stirs envy in Philippine Navy

Bandila, Huwebes, Hulyo 29, 2010

PHIL. NAVY'S MODERN CAUSE OF CORRUPTION

Philippine Navy and AFP have found its modern cause for its yet another modernization scheme (scam). This again will be against the food in every Filipinos table.

---------- Don't label me I am original! ----------

PN not at fault

Please don't laugh at our PN vessels for it still functioning and trying to defend us whenever unexpected shooting strikes.

Blame the government for they didn't give importance to one of our defenders.

---> "It doesn't take the most powerful branches of Government in the Philippines to create the next political conflict. Just the will of a single man. And that man is PRES. BENIGNO 'ABNOY' AQUINO III"

Is this the Varyag?

I went on a tour of this vessel while it was docked in San Francisco. It is impressive. But not as impressive as the US Navy guided missile destroyer USS Shoup that I toured during Fleet Week a couple of years back also in San Francisco Bay. I would have to agree with the PN officers interviewed for this piece. The sad state of our Navy is no laughing matter. The PN would be unable to defend our archipelagic country in case of a shooting war.
